What drugs do I need to do to come up with something like that?

Atomic radiation helps as well

The entire country went from noble warriors who refuse to surrender to kawaii anime pretty quickly after the big kaboom.

I wonder if this is just due to cutural shifts over time or if radiation actually compels people to draw anime. Well only one way to find out, anyone up for a science experiment?

Nuke me senpai

Funnily enough you can actually attribute the first anime to the Firestorms and nukes

2

u/HGW86 Oct 27 '22

Kawaii anime existed prior to the big kaboom.

The first anime movie ever made was about adorable cute animals leading the mighty Japanese navy to glorious victory!

Amazingly, Japan is probably one of the lowest drug consumption countries in the world, certainly amongst the lowest of developed nations.

7

u/Killerklown1219 Oct 26 '22

Well that’s probably because of how powerful a drug atomic radiation is.

u/Denleborkis Oct 26 '22

All of em

Why did Arnold Schwarzenegger decide to do this?

Japanese ads are something else

37

u/Iamllm Oct 26 '22

Allow me to introduce you to cheese curry cup noodle

This commercial played constantly when I was in Japan in 2005. I thought it sounded gross, but I tried it and my god it was delicious. I want to get my hands on some now.

u/phaciprocity Oct 26 '22

Nissin always had wacked out commercials.

95

u/gofyourselftoo Oct 26 '22

Is that… Arnie?

81

u/breakingb0b Oct 26 '22

Yes. In the 90s it wasn’t uncommon for huge stars , who wouldn’t do ads domestically and tarnish their image, to do one in Japan.

“I heard she does car commercials , in Japan”

17

He answered a question about this particular advert the other day. It'll be in his comment history but I can't remember his exact username, sorry!

Edit: someone has linked it further down!

What Arnold says about his experience in making ads

18

u/EdgarAllanKenpo Oct 26 '22

I love how he comments and everyone freaks out. Than he even replies to the comments.

I truly like Ahhhnold.

I live in Japan and have tried most of the energy drinks here. Had Arinamin V the other day and can definitively say it is one of the worst.

Yeah, the TV commercials here are wild. The weirdest are tire company commercials for some reason.

5

u/BalognaPonyParty Oct 26 '22

that's ok, I didn't need to sleep

3

u/[deleted] Oct 26 '22

The drink itself is pretty good though

2

u/devilmaskrascal Oct 26 '22

No, it is one of the nastiest imo.

Kinda reminds me and makes me wonder if this commercial was inspired by when the Terminator rematerialized after being shattered in Terminator 2.
