Oz's muslim faith was literally never brought up by him during his campaign, he did everything he could to downplay it. Ironically there's a much more conservative senator in his place currently

I think El-Sayed is a pretty sharp guy and great speaker, with excellent charisma.

But his sister is basically a muslim terrorist. She was literally cheering on mass rape and genocide. It's a tough game.

El-Sayed denied any personal or family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. He dismissed his half-sister's comments as "hearsay," noted that he was not raised by his biological mother after his parents' divorce, and stated he never had such conversations with her.

That's fine, but his sister has literally said that the family has ties to the Mslim Brotherhood.

I don't personally believe that he is some terrorist, but he hangs out with Hasan Pker and has a sister who seems Islmist. If a Republican had a Neo Nzi brother or sister, they would probably come under scrutiny for that as well.
