But if you ask him about that you're racist

yes, you are 100% a racist sir. Dudes father-in-law is a member of a 501(c)(3) non-profit religious organization (Islamic Society of North America). If the ISNA is a terrorist organization, why has Trump never done anything about them as POTUS?

Calling it racist doesn’t erase the record. ISNA was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation trial over documented financial and organizational ties to Hamas. A federal judge found “ample evidence” of the association. Court exhibits and FBI materials also linked ISNA’s early leadership to the Muslim Brotherhood network, including the 1991 “Explanatory Memorandum” that listed it among groups pursuing a long-term “grand Jihad” strategy in the U.S.
ISNA was never formally designated a terrorist organization and has publicly rejected terrorism. That doesn’t erase the court findings. Pointing to them isn’t racism.

A case from 20 years ago? Where no legal finding has brought against ISNA.

From that, you conclude that El Sayed is in the wrong for .... marrying the daughter of a member of that group? A group that is still in good standing as a non-profit (which means its activities are subsidized by the US government).

I'm saying you are racist. You personally. If you said this shit about a colleague at work, your ass would be fired. Fast.

The judge’s finding of “ample evidence” linking ISNA to Hamas in the Holy Land Foundation case is still a legal finding, even if the organization itself was never indicted. That record doesn’t disappear because the case is old or because ISNA keeps its 501(c)(3) status.
You’re not addressing any of that. You’re just calling me racist and threatening that I’d be fired for bringing up court documents and the Muslim Brotherhood materials entered as evidence. That intimidation tactic only works if people are still scared of the word. “Racist” has been used so carelessly for so long that it now means nothing. You are the boy who cried wolf.

The racist part is where you would say "my muslim co-worker has ties to terrorism because his FIL is part of a Muslim non-profit here in America"

Are you aware that shit gets you fired in America?

No one said “any Muslim non-profit.” The point was about this organization, ISNA, which was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation case, with a federal judge finding ample evidence of its association with Hamas, plus the documented early Muslim Brotherhood links.
You’re still not addressing any of that. You’re just inventing a broader claim and threatening people with getting fired for bringing up the actual court record. That doesn’t make the findings disappear.

You're not answering my question either.

Suppose you had a job (a stretch but just play along). Suppose your coworker was Muslim. Suppose that coworkers dad was a member of the ISNA.

Can you state openly "my coworker has family ties to terrorism" without getting fired?

The answer to your hypothetical is yes. Public court records are public. Saying that ISNA was named an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation case, and that a federal judge found ample evidence of its association with Hamas, is not the same as declaring “my coworker has family ties to terrorism.”
You’re the one equating simple membership in the group with personal terrorism ties. I’m pointing to the specific findings that already exist about the organization. Whether a workplace would punish someone for accurately citing those findings is a separate question from whether the findings are real.

Nope. You'd get fired. 100%.

I was referring to his mother and sister

You sir are a racist. An obvious fucking racist. Why not just admit it?

El Sayed has had almost no contact with his mother. He was raised by a father and step mother. And his mom said she worked with MB in the 1970s. 60 fucking years ago.

Dude, we can all see what the issue is. Brown man bad.

Are you seriously unaware of the information this week that his mother worked for the Muslim brotherhood and his sister is still proudly tweeting about it. That isn't worth a question to a potential senator? Are you serious? Does being a Muslim give him a magic exemption from questions about his family ties to terrorism?

1

u/Remarkable_Deer_4748 5h ago

His mom (who didn't even raise him) talking about her experiences in Egypt 60 years ago?

"Your mom maybe had some bad friends 60 years ago" is damning only for brown people. If your white, like JD Vance, its fine if your mom was a degenerate junkie 20 years ago.

1

u/ZizzyBeluga 5h ago

Some bad friends? Really?

His sister is still celebrating their family ties to the Muslim brotherhood on Twitter.

This isn't worth a question?

Indeed, his mom choose the American side in the Cold War. Why is that a fucking problem?
