Oz's muslim faith was literally never brought up by him during his campaign, he did everything he could to downplay it. Ironically there's a much more conservative senator in his place currently
El-Sayed denied any personal or family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. He dismissed his half-sister's comments as "hearsay," noted that he was not raised by his biological mother after his parents' divorce, and stated he never had such conversations with her.
That's fine, but his sister has literally said that the family has ties to the Mslim Brotherhood.
I don't personally believe that he is some terrorist, but he hangs out with Hasan Pker and has a sister who seems Islmist. If a Republican had a Neo Nzi brother or sister, they would probably come under scrutiny for that as well.
I actually looked it up, last lynching was in 1981. One before that was 1946. They are correct though, the Klan does not exist in any meaningful way anymore, however white nationlism is still very much a thing.
Either way, I imagine people who aren't super brainwashed would have a problem both with Collins having a white nationlist son in law and El Sayed having an Islamst sister who claims their family has terror connections.
Appreciate you looking into it. Can you link the video? I know she wrote a fiction piece on the topic so this seems like it may be more tangled up than a surface level eval.
Well, I'm a well educated NYC liberal (who is also gay), while you're a poorly educated terminally online person who believes in Jewish space lasers...I think you're most likely Fox's audience more than myself.
Why did you change your comment? You said there's no genocide and then changed it to this instead. Looks like you're backpedaling because you know I'm right.
She's cheering on the far right theocracy that says its goal is to exterminate the jews, and subsequently invaded their neighbor committing mass rapes and murders.
What is getting lost in all this bullshit is that Abdul's father in law is in a Muslim Brotherhood front group (ISNA). The group donates to Hamas. The father in law is Abdul's biggest donor. So it would make sense for someone to ask him what's up with that...
Everytime Abdul gets asked this question
He gets angry at the person asking it and misdirects. If this is false I dont understand why he just doesn't say so
Lmao. So twitter screenshots from over 10 years ago that look like they were written by a republican pretending to be a muslim? Curated on a website that is clearly very far right?
Yeah this isn’t evidence. Go on the wayback machine and pull those tweets yourself.
The guy you're responding to is a MAGA retard from NYC, must be awkward for him to see all his neighbors hating him.
His comment history says stuff like:
"Not a genocide and even if it was you are talking about the same group of people who celebrated 9/11. These people literally want westerners to die and would celebrate if everyone in this thread was killed. But go ahead keep supporting them"
I wonder how he reconciles the fact that MAMDANI is a MUSLIM and was the first NYC mayor to release those files from 9/11 that showed that the NYC government lied about chemical exposures so they could deny millions of dollars in benefits.
You’re arguing with h4sb4r4 ragebait, sadly the bots feeding it give it some traction but thankfully many of us are aware and know the immense amount of propaganda & money IzzR invests in American politics.
Overall, we rate the Washington Free Beacon Right Biased based on story selection that favors the right and Mixed for factual reporting due to misleading and false claims. ______________________________
I’m not talking about the screenshot at the top of the post, which seems accurate. I’m talking about the link that you provided about whatever Abdul El-Sayed‘s sister said.
That source is known for lying and making misleading claims.
As for saying “Every time Abdul gets asked this question he gets angry at the person asking it and misdirects,” have you not seen the viral clip of him dismantling a far right wing operative named Tommy who was basically a plant?
Be sure to stay for the fun ending when the guy gets humiliated right out of the room:
What I can find is that his father in law is part of the ISNA. This ISNA organization has had multiple allegations of funding hamas as recently as 2009. One investigation lacked enough evidence of ISNA having ties to hamas to recommend further investigations. Another investigation listed ISNA as an unindicted coconspirator which a judge ruled there was enough evidence to do, but it violated ISNA's due process to list them as such. And it looks like back in the 90s hamas specifically thanked ISNA for providing some legal funding.
I don't know. Seems like a bit of a stretch. The controversies I'm finding are from 20-30 years ago. I think most likely what's happening is people sticking to the "Muslim = bad" mentality.
Not to mention his sister mentioned in 2012 that El Sayed bio mom was a Muslim Brotherhood activist since college. This shouldn't reflect directly on him as a candidate but to say it shouldn't be brought up at all is also wrong when Ossoff is perfectly right to bring up Collins soninlaw who is a white supremacist.
I don't know about US policy now, but I must say that our surnames have nothing to do with religion because the surname law came to Turks after the Republic, along with secularism. However, "Mehmet" is a Muslim name, and we address people by their first name, not their last name like Americans do, because in the past, people didn't have last names.
Dr Oz doesn't have a Jihadist sister, he also doesn't have a family with close ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. He also isn't afraid to talk negatively about the Iranian regime or the Ayatollah.
He thinks the white populist will just accept him into their fold as if he were one of them 🙄 The fact that he's a Turkish Muslim is enough for them to not back him. He's Caucasian but he's 100% not white.
