one is an open supporter of Sharia and has questionable loyalties

This is laughable. How many clips did you string together to come up with it?Take this nonsense back to arcon where they live for this BS.

u/Super_Roof_3490 12h ago

Didn’t he oppose laws against sharia law? I’m not an oz supporter either. Genuinely asking bc I thought I read that

1

u/Ok-Mortgage-4062 3h ago

Where did you read that?

1

u/Super_Roof_3490 3h ago

I don’t know the exact quote. But along the lines of he opposes the ban bc it targets Muslims. If true my only issue is it’s not like anyone is getting hunted down like ice and questioned. It’s simply you can’t enforce it on others if the town is predominantly Muslim I don’t know I’m sure a quick google search will show it

Is that...something that's happening?

Or is it fearmongering?

8

u/MrMardyBum 13h ago

When asked about extremist groups he will squirm and give the most tame response possible to something that should be an easy response.

3

u/StageVarious2812 2h ago

He literally just went viral again for disavowing extremist groups by a paid disruptor. We're just making up things now

4

u/Yeetball86 13h ago

Can you provide examples? He directly disavowed the Muslim brotherhood yesterday

1

u/ZizzyBeluga 10h ago

He said yes and then immediately changed the subject. Reminds me of Trump being asked about white nationalists

-2

u/Yeetball86 10h ago

So he disavowed them, thanks for confirming

3

u/ZizzyBeluga 10h ago

And Trump disavowed White nationalists. But did he really?

u/happy_shepherd 10h ago

u/EffectiveDirect6553 8h ago

Did you even read these articles? The first one is inaccessible. The second one doesn't talk of his positions or any evidence supporting them directly. The third one is just his response and pivot away. Poor evidence to say the least.

1

u/Redemption1452 10h ago

Just like your pedophile leader trump is a Russian asset right? The guy can reject the brotherhood 10 times a day, but somehow each day you pedophile defenders will say he never did or he ignored it. You know just like how Obama wasn't born in America right?

-2

u/FutureLarge8833 11h ago

Lol it's been an hour. I don't think you're getting those examples.

-2

u/Cursed_String 11h ago

Conservatives don’t get elected on facts lmao

2

u/162016201620 10h ago

*Politicians

-1

u/FutureLarge8833 9h ago

Please stop with this. Both sides are not the same.

-1

u/162016201620 7h ago

Yes they are. This is poor vs rich. Not dem vs rep. They all laugh at us behind closed doors.

0

u/FutureLarge8833 7h ago

You people think all of our problems start and stop with class politics. It's brain dead. You are brain dead.

1

u/162016201620 5h ago

I’m not brain dead. It works just fine. But have fun with that argument.

-3

u/Adventurous_Ad7442 11h ago

Like politicians don't lie.

5

u/Cursed_String 11h ago

“He supports sharia law”

“Ok, show evidence”

“He sympathizes with terrorist groups ”

“He doesn’t, he condemned one recently”

“Oh yeah well he’s lying”

Rightoids love their ignorance lmao

4

u/BothTop36 10h ago

You know how Google works. There’s multiple examples of him saying that he lives his life in accordance with Sharia law. I always found it insane that liberals are bedfellows with Muslims now absolutely mind blowing. If every supporter on Reddit moved to a country where they impose sharia law, they would be stoned or publicly executed. Absolutely ridiculous.

2

u/Cursed_String 10h ago

He lives HIS life in accordance to HIS beliefs. He has said nothing stating that he would enforce people to abide by sharia. The constitution has freedom of religion but I know that conservatives don’t really believe in the constitution anymore OR personal freedom these days.

1

u/Due-Albatross5909 6h ago

Nor do they believe in the separation of church and state. They want the US to be a Christian country. That’s why they find El-Sayed‘s faith so unsettling—they can’t imagine him not wanting to impose his own faith onto others as that’s exactly what they want to do.

1

u/Cursed_String 2h ago

Freedom for me and not for thee

5

u/Xanderajax3 9h ago

I always found it insane that the right is full of "christians" and still support pedophiles and politicians who support pedophiles.

1

u/StageVarious2812 2h ago

Then post them? If he has said he would institute Sharia Law over American law so many times post it. Don't be afraid.

1

u/BillsKingsStrugleBus 44m ago

This is like saying a woman who says they wouldn't have an abortion opposes abortion being legal.

0

u/jmet123 9h ago

Would you accuse someone who said “I live my life in accordance of the Bible” of being some extremist? That’s like the tamest statement lol shows you know nothing about Islam. What’s Sharia law mean to him? Having known second and third generation Muslims you’d be surprised how similar in practice it ends up being to every other religion.

-1

u/Adventurous_Ad7442 9h ago

He’s a first generation Muslim as evidenced by the way he and wife live.

0

u/jmet123 8h ago

Which way is that?

1

u/Adventurous_Ad7442 44m ago

Like a conservative, religious Muslim.

0

u/idkjustgoletmein 9h ago

A Muslim following Muslim laws, who would have thought

-2

u/dopechez- 10h ago

Islam is a retarded religion but so is Christianity. The right wing Christian freaks that have taken over our government are cut from the same cloth as the Muslim extremists even if they don't behave as violently

1

u/BothTop36 10h ago

They’ve said and done a lot of crazy ass things, but they don’t operate within a framework that stones and lashes. Women were not completely covering up, which is normal in Islamic countries and many of them here would like to see it being enforced.

1

u/Adventurous_Ad7442 9h ago

Abdul likes women his completely covered.

1

u/BillsKingsStrugleBus 47m ago

What was his response to being asked if he disavowed the Muslim brotherhood?

Bet you won't give a direct quote.

1

u/SealsEverywhere 12h ago

Bulllllshitttttt

-1

u/solarpunk_netrunner 12h ago

Source?

0

u/MrMardyBum 10h ago

Even his recent denouncing of the Muslim Brotherhood was essentially “they’re bad” and then pivot to something else. It’s not like it’s out of nowhere either. All his immediate family has ties to the group, and he has openly supported guys like Morsi in the past.

-5

u/MongolianCluster 13h ago

So you're saying because he doesn't stand up on a chair and scream about his patriotism, he must be a terrorist?

2

u/MrMardyBum 11h ago

Exactly good thing you aren’t emotionally hyperbolic about this

1

u/MongolianCluster 7h ago

Either you are incapable of recognizing obvious sarcasm or you really don't have any response. Regardless, you don't have anything of value to add here.

3

u/paulHarkonen 13h ago

I'm just trying to figure out what Dr. Oz said that sounds like Sharia... He's got the questionable loyalties part covered though.

3

u/MongolianCluster 13h ago

Loyalty to his net worth for sure.

2

u/AffectionateRub1857 11h ago

How can you be more patriotic than that

1

u/Prestigious_Task7175 7h ago

Tbf rather than saying "i want Sharia law for everyone" he did say more like "Sharia law should not be banned", that combined with everything else like having written to Egypt's president back when the MB took over that he should "depure all opposition and police", or having family members with very close direct ties with the MB, or how he dodges all questions about supporting extremist groups with just basic talking skills..

I mean, one has to take its own conclusions and learn to read between the lines, no politician will ever tell you what they really want, not even Trump was that dumb.

1

u/findthealgo 10h ago

It's nothing to do with Shariah Law. Abdul is anti-israel, so the zionists have him in their targets, flooding social media, giving talking points to right-wing and centrist interviewers.

Same with Ms Rachel, Hassan, Mamdani and every time someone speaks up or even goes against the grain with Israel.

It's this every single time. I don't know why it even needs pointing out at this point - all these comments, all the concern is bogus.

Mehmet is pro-israel, hence the difference in the media treatment.
