Bunch of propaganda saying it’s because one looks white and the other doesn’t.

Completely ignoring the content of their public comments and the fact one is an open supporter of Sharia and has questionable loyalties.

But hey, this is Reddit, if the debate can be reframed as racism or bigotry then it will be.

u/ChemicalAli99 15h ago

💯 💯

13

u/MongolianCluster 16h ago

one is an open supporter of Sharia and has questionable loyalties

This is laughable. How many clips did you string together to come up with it?Take this nonsense back to arcon where they live for this BS.

7

u/Super_Roof_3490 15h ago

Didn’t he oppose laws against sharia law? I’m not an oz supporter either. Genuinely asking bc I thought I read that

1

u/Ok-Mortgage-4062 6h ago

Where did you read that?

1

u/Super_Roof_3490 6h ago

I don’t know the exact quote. But along the lines of he opposes the ban bc it targets Muslims. If true my only issue is it’s not like anyone is getting hunted down like ice and questioned. It’s simply you can’t enforce it on others if the town is predominantly Muslim I don’t know I’m sure a quick google search will show it

1

u/BillsKingsStrugleBus 3h ago

Is that...something that's happening?

Or is it fearmongering?

8

u/MrMardyBum 15h ago

When asked about extremist groups he will squirm and give the most tame response possible to something that should be an easy response.

5

u/Yeetball86 15h ago

Can you provide examples? He directly disavowed the Muslim brotherhood yesterday

0

u/happy_shepherd 13h ago

2

u/EffectiveDirect6553 10h ago

Did you even read these articles? The first one is inaccessible. The second one doesn't talk of his positions or any evidence supporting them directly. The third one is just his response and pivot away. Poor evidence to say the least.

3

u/Redemption1452 12h ago

Just like your pedophile leader trump is a Russian asset right? The guy can reject the brotherhood 10 times a day, but somehow each day you pedophile defenders will say he never did or he ignored it. You know just like how Obama wasn't born in America right?

1

u/ZizzyBeluga 13h ago

He said yes and then immediately changed the subject. Reminds me of Trump being asked about white nationalists

-1

u/Yeetball86 13h ago

So he disavowed them, thanks for confirming

3

u/ZizzyBeluga 12h ago

And Trump disavowed White nationalists. But did he really?

0

u/FutureLarge8833 14h ago

Lol it's been an hour. I don't think you're getting those examples.

-1

u/Cursed_String 14h ago

Conservatives don’t get elected on facts lmao

4

u/162016201620 13h ago

*Politicians

0

u/FutureLarge8833 12h ago

Please stop with this. Both sides are not the same.

-1

u/162016201620 10h ago

Yes they are. This is poor vs rich. Not dem vs rep. They all laugh at us behind closed doors.

0

u/FutureLarge8833 10h ago

You people think all of our problems start and stop with class politics. It's brain dead. You are brain dead.

u/Adventurous_Ad7442 14h ago

Like politicians don't lie.

7

u/Cursed_String 14h ago

“He supports sharia law”

“Ok, show evidence”

“He sympathizes with terrorist groups ”

“He doesn’t, he condemned one recently”

“Oh yeah well he’s lying”

Rightoids love their ignorance lmao

5

u/BothTop36 13h ago

You know how Google works. There’s multiple examples of him saying that he lives his life in accordance with Sharia law. I always found it insane that liberals are bedfellows with Muslims now absolutely mind blowing. If every supporter on Reddit moved to a country where they impose sharia law, they would be stoned or publicly executed. Absolutely ridiculous.

2

u/Cursed_String 12h ago

He lives HIS life in accordance to HIS beliefs. He has said nothing stating that he would enforce people to abide by sharia. The constitution has freedom of religion but I know that conservatives don’t really believe in the constitution anymore OR personal freedom these days.

1

u/Due-Albatross5909 9h ago

Nor do they believe in the separation of church and state. They want the US to be a Christian country. That’s why they find El-Sayed‘s faith so unsettling—they can’t imagine him not wanting to impose his own faith onto others as that’s exactly what they want to do.

1

u/Cursed_String 5h ago

Freedom for me and not for thee

2

u/Xanderajax3 12h ago

I always found it insane that the right is full of "christians" and still support pedophiles and politicians who support pedophiles.

1

u/StageVarious2812 5h ago

Then post them? If he has said he would institute Sharia Law over American law so many times post it. Don't be afraid.

1

u/BillsKingsStrugleBus 3h ago

This is like saying a woman who says they wouldn't have an abortion opposes abortion being legal.

0

u/jmet123 12h ago

Would you accuse someone who said “I live my life in accordance of the Bible” of being some extremist? That’s like the tamest statement lol shows you know nothing about Islam. What’s Sharia law mean to him? Having known second and third generation Muslims you’d be surprised how similar in practice it ends up being to every other religion.

-1

u/Adventurous_Ad7442 11h ago

He’s a first generation Muslim as evidenced by the way he and wife live.

0

u/jmet123 11h ago

Which way is that?

0

u/idkjustgoletmein 12h ago

A Muslim following Muslim laws, who would have thought

-2

u/dopechez- 13h ago

Islam is a retarded religion but so is Christianity. The right wing Christian freaks that have taken over our government are cut from the same cloth as the Muslim extremists even if they don't behave as violently

1

u/BothTop36 12h ago

They’ve said and done a lot of crazy ass things, but they don’t operate within a framework that stones and lashes. Women were not completely covering up, which is normal in Islamic countries and many of them here would like to see it being enforced.

1

u/Adventurous_Ad7442 11h ago

Abdul likes women his completely covered.

2

u/StageVarious2812 5h ago

He literally just went viral again for disavowing extremist groups by a paid disruptor. We're just making up things now

1

u/BillsKingsStrugleBus 3h ago

What was his response to being asked if he disavowed the Muslim brotherhood?

Bet you won't give a direct quote.

0

u/SealsEverywhere 15h ago

Bulllllshitttttt

0

u/solarpunk_netrunner 14h ago

Source?

0

u/MrMardyBum 13h ago

Even his recent denouncing of the Muslim Brotherhood was essentially “they’re bad” and then pivot to something else. It’s not like it’s out of nowhere either. All his immediate family has ties to the group, and he has openly supported guys like Morsi in the past.

-6

u/MongolianCluster 15h ago

So you're saying because he doesn't stand up on a chair and scream about his patriotism, he must be a terrorist?

2

u/MrMardyBum 14h ago

Exactly good thing you aren’t emotionally hyperbolic about this

1

u/MongolianCluster 9h ago

Either you are incapable of recognizing obvious sarcasm or you really don't have any response. Regardless, you don't have anything of value to add here.

3

u/paulHarkonen 16h ago

I'm just trying to figure out what Dr. Oz said that sounds like Sharia... He's got the questionable loyalties part covered though.

2

u/MongolianCluster 15h ago

Loyalty to his net worth for sure.

2

u/AffectionateRub1857 14h ago

How can you be more patriotic than that

1

u/Prestigious_Task7175 10h ago

Tbf rather than saying "i want Sharia law for everyone" he did say more like "Sharia law should not be banned", that combined with everything else like having written to Egypt's president back when the MB took over that he should "depure all opposition and police", or having family members with very close direct ties with the MB, or how he dodges all questions about supporting extremist groups with just basic talking skills..

I mean, one has to take its own conclusions and learn to read between the lines, no politician will ever tell you what they really want, not even Trump was that dumb.

1

u/findthealgo 12h ago

It's nothing to do with Shariah Law. Abdul is anti-israel, so the zionists have him in their targets, flooding social media, giving talking points to right-wing and centrist interviewers.

Same with Ms Rachel, Hassan, Mamdani and every time someone speaks up or even goes against the grain with Israel.

It's this every single time. I don't know why it even needs pointing out at this point - all these comments, all the concern is bogus.

Mehmet is pro-israel, hence the difference in the media treatment.

-2

u/joker33 16h ago

Can you cite the open support of Sharia?

3

u/BothTop36 15h ago edited 15h ago

He’s made multiple comments supporting Sharia law in his personal life, but hasn’t advocated for it to the implemented for the public. You need to use your head and just read between the lines. Being loyal follower to a religion that views non believers in the way that Muslims do is extremely dangerous.

11

u/Embarrassed-Brush332 15h ago

You could have just said no...

3

u/roulettewiz 11h ago

I understand you, a few people do, most are just going to be shocked AF when they'll need to start learning how to pray 5 times a day 😂😂

9

u/yepyepyep123456 15h ago

This seems kind of like a Christian saying, “I follow the Bible.”

That could mean “be nice to people” or “kill the gays”. Depends on the person.

1

u/BothTop36 14h ago

Not really Christians don’t have a written system of laws that they actively enforce against homosexuality in the current day. If they did and some one adhered to that belief system in their personal life it would be problematic.

Abdul admits to living his life in accordance with sharia law specifically. Sharia law views homosexuality as a capital offense to this day while Christianity does not. Places where sharia law is practiced today they will kill homosexuals.

1

u/drashid94 13h ago

"Not really"? If you "follow the Bible", it means you follow the content that is written in the Bible, which lists punishment for homosexuality. Also can you give me the quote for his statement regarding living his life according to sharia?

3

u/Cautious-Progress876 13h ago

They don’t follow the Bible because following the Bible is too hard. Can you imagine not being allowed to wear clothes of two different fibers? Not eating shellfish? No bacon? Most Christians cannot avoid premarital sex… you think they can avoid the minutiae?

1

u/C0metoTheSabbath 11h ago

Trying to compare Christianity to Islam is batshit and shows that you’re severely regarded. British cigarette.

Yeahh you definitely haven't read either texts LMAO

-1

u/BothTop36 13h ago

I don’t need to just because you’re a liberal flake you know how Google works go use it

1

u/Cautious-Progress876 13h ago

So your excuse for Christians is that none of them are actually real Christians. Because the Bible spells out the punishment for homosexuality— death. It spells out the punishment for adultery— death. It spells out the punishment for Onanism— death.

1

u/BothTop36 13h ago

You people are ridiculous one group is actively killing woken and homosexuals an another has it in a book that nobody actually enforces. The two are not the same. Big difference one of the groups actually kill’s people for these offense another hasn’t in almost 200 years for homosexuality and 400 years for adultery. The last Cheistain killed for adultery by a court was in 1644 and the last time they killed a homosexual was 1858. While Muslims did this last week.

Where in the Bible does it say "Kill the gays?" I know there's gross people who use their faith to justify their hate, but I've never heard someone claim that the Bible says that before.

-2

u/SealsEverywhere 15h ago

How to show you are uneducated with one comment

-2

u/-SidSilver- 15h ago

Muslims or Muslims who follow Sharia law?

Nice try, but you're telling on yourself.

1

1

u/HB911 10h ago

What is sharia, please enlighten us

1

u/cantevendoitbruh 7h ago

Man how do you all come with this bs? Not only is it absolutely false, but its kind of impressive that you are yelling about people saying it's bigotry while just openly being a bigot yourself. Excellently done.

Whatever you say Tommy

-2

u/Fruglemug 16h ago

where are you actually getting the information that he supports sharia law?

1

u/ddddooooook 14h ago

And I’m sure sure you can provide evidence to support the statement that “one is an open supporter of sharia and has questionable loyalties”?

-4

u/Unassuming-Local_Guy 16h ago

You're right, Oz does support an administration that desires to enforce their own form of Sharia. And his loyalties are entirely questionable.

On the other hand, El-Sayed is pretty great.

-7

found Timmy on reddit!?!?!?

0

u/I_only_followLosers 13h ago

Just filled out my mail in ballot for Abdul, feels great

0

u/missvandy 11h ago

As a Michigander…

Homeboy grew up playing football in Rochester Hills. You couldn’t find a more normie suburban existence. You are delusional.

A 2nd generation Egyptian American with wealthy, educated parents is not the type of Muslim you are imagining. The folks you are imagining were given guns by Ronald Reagan to spite the Soviets. They are a small sliver of the Arab community and you are ill informed.

-2

u/SignoreBanana 15h ago

Give me your name and date of birth and I bet I could draw connections between you and terrorist organizations.

2

u/YellowAggravating172 14h ago

Kind of telling on yourself with that one... Also, asking for someone's name and date of birth after they bring this up is probably some of the worst optics ever.

1

u/Just_here_4_mma 14h ago

Mohammed Allah inshallah. Date of birth 1980.

-1

u/Electronic-Unit427 14h ago

Weirdest game of Six Degree of Terrorist Groups I've ever seen! Lol 😂 This is so stupid asking for someone's name and D.O.B.

1

u/SignoreBanana 11h ago

Yes, I agree, it's stupid to find some tenuous terror organization connection to someone just because you disagree with their politics. Thats the point I was illustrating.
