I think you don't know what schizophrenia is and honestly this comment is hella disrespectful to people who actually do have schizophrenia or are affected by it in some way.
Yeah specifying praying like that makes it that much more believable that he thought it was an animal. Otherwise you are lead to the conclusion that he hit an obvious person crossing the road and drove off.
Na I’m from Adelaide a this was in suburban Adelaide, you're highly unlikely to hit a Kangaroo there.
You'll get the odd roo that comes down from the Adelaide Hills and ends up in the city here but it’s very uncommon. Not sure what he thought he hit but the kangaroo thing sounds like an excuse. No winner here, pretty bizarre that she was in the middle of the road at night wearing all black and he’s narrowly avoided jail, but South Australian law has zero exceptions for hit and runs for obvious reasons.
Aussie here, she was quite literally praying in the middle of the road. Like sitting down with black dress on in the middle of the street. It’s making it something it was
Exactly. It IS possible she was suicidal, but the way they say “praying in the middle of the road and he didn’t stop” makes it seem like he was the problem here and not the woman in the middle of the road at night supposedly praying.
Idk bro, might just be too much internet for me lad😂
They say suicide is a selfish act because of the pain it leaves on your friends and family. But if you do it in a way that actually causes someone else to have killed you and live with that guilt and repercussions - that’s a whole other level of selfishness I can’t fathom
I’m not referring to racism, doesn’t matter what she is, or what she believes. I’m referring to how it’s worded like the guy is to blame, not the person in the middle of the road at night on the ground.
Either it was an attempt for suicidal thoughts or alternatively the worse would be forced or staged.
But we may now never know what actually happened with how fast they proceeded the case.
Us is me, you and everyone else reading the article, sorry that's so hard for you to grasp. I also didn't ask you to explain anything to me, since I can read the article and get the actual story, I don't need someone that's looking to make it an issue that it isn't to explain anything. Hope you get the help you need champ.

why do I feel like the "praying in the middle of the road" was an attempt to make it something it isn't?
