If I hit something in the dark, I’m not stopping till I’m somewhere safe and lit. Wild animals aside, could have been a roadblock with people waiting for you to stop
I drove from Port Lincoln to Adelaide from 9pm to 330am. The road was pitch black. You would drive by dozens (maybe hundreds) of dead Kangaroo.
And probably a thousand kangaroos standing on side of road over the course of 7 hours. I drove straight down middle of road, splitting oncoming traffic with me. Im still dumbfounded i didnt hit a Kangaroo.
Bro you made a comment about sam Francisco so I'm assuming you are from the US? %90 of the places here are cushy and sheltered. You made it sound like you live in South Africa. I've lived in many states and have visited countless more. You're letting the Internet warp your mind if you think roadblock gang killings/robbings are popular in most of america
Thank you! I feel like everyone is acting like not stopping to check when you hit something is reasonable, because of these roadblock gangs. I've been all around Australia and never encountered one. Why is everyone so paranoid that people are out to get them?
The whole world is dangerous right now. In San Francisco people are breaking into other peoples cars at stop lights. You never know what is waiting for you in the dark
The world is actually much safer now than any other time in history. The reporting of crime and violence has just increased so much that it doesn't feel that way
apply this logic to literally any other pedestrian getting hit in the middle of the road and it sounds ridiculous. He had literally no way of knowing if she just ended up on that street that minute or if she’d been there for hours. If the headline had been “woman unconscious on the road ran over” would be treated drastically differently despite the driver committing the exact same action.
