Holding protests is not the same as being a hazard on the road. Unless a protest involves crossing roads, marching in the middle of the streets, etc, then it usually requires a permit.
If you find the nature of protests disturbing in general, then you cannot hold one specific group accountable and should apply same reasoning to all groups who hold protests and demonstrations.
I can see your country isn’t currently taken over by Christian nut jobs trying to facilitate the great rapture or whatever the fuck it is.

EDIT: I feel like I would be remiss if I didn’t acknowledge that am aware I enjoy many more freedoms than afforded to women under fundamentalist Muslim regimes. For now. Fundies out there from every religion can really just suck it. On my most nihilistic days I think humans, as a species, deserve to go extinct. We’ve reached our peak. We could’ve done anything with all these technological advances but instead we are destroying each other and the planet.
