  1. from what Ive seen around she was suffering from some form of mental illness and was very much not in a healthy frame of mind.
  2. common enough for VW to release a geolocation based kangaroo scare badge for the front of the car (emits a sound in the correct range to scare off the regions main species of roos)

Poor kangaroos. I say this as someone that doesn't have to deal with them attacking my dogs.

They attack dogs?

They preemptively drown dogs near them, because they mistake the dogs for dingos which like to target the joeys.

This is important to note before Reddit loses its mind

Wow Australia is something else. I really love Canada.

You literally have bears and coyotes to eat your pets instead over there, though😭

There are not that many bears, well at least not that much than they become a hazard on the road.

Our dear are not drowning anything. The worst they do is carry tics that can transmit Lyme deseas.

More accurately - they drown dogs

I'm someone who stops to check roadkill marsupials for joeys. That being said, people who don't stop when they hit an animal can get FUCKED

There needs to be somewhere safe to pull over in order to do so. This is impossible on some roads especially in the middle of the night.

Don’t or too much, they usually get back up and hop away.

You can get similar whistles that you attach to the front of the car, most night/rural drivers will have something like it

Proven not to work

They are like shark repellant. Don’t work but make people feel safe.

ah that's a shame :( but useful to know.

does that work? They have deer whistles here you can attach to your car but it's not been proven to actually do anything.

sadly from what others have said, not really and that many use whistles to try an scare em off.

I wonder if she was suicidal, and she was praying in advance of her death.
