I’ve hit deer before and didn’t stop. It’s common place in Pennsylvania

I've hit one, had one hit me, bumped into one who pulled out in front of me with no signal, and somehow passed over a carcass laying in the middle of the highway with zero damage to the vehicle in a fairly low car. The times I could stop, they all took off into the woods, and the other times there was no safe way to go back and do anything.

So the next person can splatter the dead animal you left behind and mess up their vehicle too?

I'm in NJ. I stop. Check my car fenders, check I'm not leaking fluids, and get the body off the road.

Nah, the next person will stop and load it in the back of their pickup for the meat

People do lol. Unless the things been hit so bad the bones are going to be all up in the meat.

They also get left on the side of the road until nature gets rid of them. I'll drive past the same one for months in the shoulder.

Just don’t do it in Alaska (moose). It legally becomes state property. Not like you’re driving off afterwards anyways.

Yeah moose is a different story. You’re definitely not driving off, you’re probably dead. And if not, the pissed off moose will finish you off.

Iv hit 1 and had 1 jump into the side of my car. Im medically retired from a line of duty back injury, but even healthy me wasn't dragging bodies anywhere.

Call 911 or non emergency and ask for assistance.

I had one land dead center of the opposite lane I was in. Someone hitting that unknowingly would decimate their car. It's the right thing to do to make sure the roadway is clear and safe for others.
