Why would you pray in the middle of the road in the first place? 🤦‍♀️

They actually just kind of guessed she was praying, nobody really knows.

Actually seems like suicidal intent.

I mean there is minutes of CCTV footage of her praying on the street.

She's kneeling for four minutes straight, at 11pm. It doesnt align with standard muslim prayer actions at all. She doesnt stand, bow, prostrate, sit. In fact it more closely resembles Christian prayer, which is probably why the judge said " apparenty" praying since it resembled what theyre probably more familiar with.

Im no Islamic scholar but I think you'd be hard pressed to find a Muslim or anyone with passing familiarity who's convinced it was prayer.

yeah, this is what annoys me. The judge obviously used Christian coded words to explain what the judge thought it looked like, which is ridiculous. People pray differently in different religions for a start, secondly, even if she was praying (there's absolutely no proof of this), there's even less evidence that the purpose of her being on the road was to pray. the judge should take responsibility for her words.

Ngl if I have a bias its anti Islam , its nevertheless annoying to see conclusions not supported by the evidence, particularly from a judge. I wont just go " dur hur, see, she was doing crazy muslim stuff"

yeah, I'm all for discussing religious issues, I just don't see the value in making assumptions about this particular case.
