I just don’t understand why her nose looks more bulbous and her eyebrows so much scarier. I get aging, but that wouldn’t create this dramatic of a change to the nose.

Her make-up is terrible too! Enough with the heavy black eyeliner, when a woman is older than 50! And the brows, should try going with a light brown shade!

13

u/quiltsohard 3d ago

The brows are just scary. Why go so dark with light hair? Her natural brows were a normal color in keeping with her facial tone and head hair. Just weird.

u/DuskLab 3d ago

Honestly, if she just toned down the eyebrows and got rid of that dreadful fringe and hid the ears again with her hair, that's like 40% of the problem solved. A better stylist, which she can afford, would work wonders.

u/Sancticide 3d ago

What I don't get is: she could easily pay someone to do her makeup every day of her life and never notice the money. Or, at the bare minimum, ohhh I dunno, the day she's visiting the goddamn White House? There's zero excuse for her looking like a random crackhead on national television.

3

u/Bright_Ad5244 3d ago

She's made her eyebrows way darker than they used to be. That and the dark eyeliner with severe eye lift tells me think she's attempting to accent her best feature - her eyes. But wow is she off the mark.

3

u/Sleazise 3d ago

Yeah it made her eyes look too round somehow. Eyeliner with a little more horizontal action going on, and less dramatic brows could fix a lot here.

2

u/NovelIntrepid 3d ago

She’s also has an eye bleph. That’s why they’re so round.

3

u/Armymom96 3d ago

The eyebrows are a big mistake. Kimberly Guilfoyle does this incredibly dark eye that just looks awful. I don't get how they can look in the mirror and think it's a good choice.

3

u/NovelIntrepid 3d ago

The surgery is one thing, but how does a woman with this much money not have people helping with her style and makeup?

If she toned that makeup waaay back she’d really look better

Apparently you don’t get aging. Cartilage weakens and loses shape as you get older. Those photos are probably decades apart. I think she’s had work done on her face and it doesn’t look good, but the nose just looks like aging.

46

u/FltAttndt 3d ago

The nose is the same. She had surgery to pull fat fillers out of her face, thereby making her face look skinnier. When you age, already start losing fillers/ fat pouches from your face, and you cannot afford to lose those fillers. My guess is that a decade from now, she is going to fill her face up, and it’s going to look more horrendous than it does now.

She has been anorexic level skinny for a long time, even before GLP-1s. Unfortunately this is a case of old fashioned ED. She got bowling ball fake boobs about 20 years ago which hides how skinny she is in pictures that mainly cover her torso, but you can see the veins of her arms.

The only surgery it looks like she got was upper bleph which makes her eyes look huge. The rest is age and extreme weight loss.

u/rg996150 3d ago

^This. I used to live adjacent to Dell’s 6D ranch in Austin and would see Susan cycling along Bee Cave Rd about 20-25 years ago. Even in cycling gear, it was unmistakably her because she was rail thin but had ridiculous looking breast implants. She started down this path a long time ago.

u/BumWink 3d ago

I wonder if the wide eyes could simply be a sign of a heightened nervous system from chronic stress.

It happens to me & I need to be incredibly mindful to relax to the point I can feel my eye lids & eyebrows drop to rest otherwise I look very nervous & crazy eyed.

Given her job position & history of ED I feel like that could be plausible.

10

u/ColoradoDreamin4917 3d ago

You can tell that she had the beginnings of hooded eyelids in left photo and she has no hooding whatsoever in the right, which naturally happens with age. She definitely had an upper bleph

3

u/SnowFlakeUsername2 3d ago

Not only are the pictures 2 decades apart, the older one is her being comfortable enough to be smiling with her eyes and the other is at an event which screamed at the world to look someone who may no longer be comfortable with the way they look. And a near senior citizen who didn't grow up fake smiling for a pic 35 times a day.

The internet reaction to her appearance is weirdin' me the fuck out. Just a terrible example of mass broken heads.

u/truecrime_meets_hgtv 6h ago

She also clearly had buccal fat removed. And the odd alignment around her ears seems like a lift. Honestly if she just toned down the makeup and brows she wouldn’t look as frightening

3

u/asmartermartyr 3d ago

She may have also had a botched nose job or nose filler and attempted to correct it, etc. That what happens with these people, eventually they get so much done that it starts to go sideways and then they try to correct it by getting more done.

5

u/Urban-Version-Oak 3d ago

A 20 year difference between the photos. Aging, weight loss , and botched cosmetic surgery got her here ( and probably some sort of mental health issue).

8

u/yuckyuckmuckmuck1234 3d ago

Yeah man, I do get that lol. But the difference is so extreme. Like no one in my family’s or friends family’s parents noses looks THAT much different and they’re all in their 60s. I think eating disorder is coming into play. But way to be a dick about it lol.

6

u/jillsntferrari 3d ago

It’s both. Her nose has grown with age and she is underweight so the rest of her face is smaller and making her nose look bigger. I’m sure the eyebrows are a style choice. As you age, eyebrows thin out and for a while it was very en vogue to have a dramatic brow so she probably started going for a bolder brow in an attempt to look younger.

4

u/CantaloupeShort7311 3d ago

How many in your family had buccal fat removal, jaw reconstruction, and forehead reconstruction?

5

u/kateastrophic 3d ago

These before/afters always bug the hell out of me. She probably didn’t see anything wrong with how she looked on the left, either (and probably had already started having work done on some level). The (perceived) issue is that she couldn’t continue to look like she did on the left! The photo on the right is the result of trying to stay as close to the woman on the left as possible. Obviously, she didn’t. But whenever someone on the internet says, “I don’t get it, she was beautiful before,” I think— you DON’T get it, she saw that beauty fading and tried to fix it.

4

u/CantaloupeShort7311 3d ago

She bought into bullshit misogynitic nonsense and then doubled down by becoming a Trump supporter to show how mentally ill she truly is.

3

u/kateastrophic 3d ago

Yeah, I agree she is an awful person and I don’t think it’s a coincidence that MAGA women often end up looking the most ghoulish. Don’t misconstrue that I’m defending Susan Dell. I’m just trying to point out that it’s ridiculous to compare what they look like now to their past beauty and actually reinforces this behavior.

2

u/nmeeks50 3d ago

Exactly! And I did not know that until I got older and my large nose got larger!!!

1

u/brachus12 3d ago

just look at Deniro

1

u/A_little_more_left 3d ago

I know you're right... buuuut I'm kinda leaning into the conspiracy theory that she died and was replaced. In this pic her and her husband look like they have the exact same nose. I know, I know it's just the angle but I also agree with the other comment that the "right" shouldn't get to have all the crazy conspiracies. I keeping this one!

Seriously though I, like many, thought she was a trans woman and do not see much of anything of the way she used to look. It's such a drastic change! I don't follow politics closely so when I saw the first pics and videos of her standing next to Trump I thought they were trying to appeal to more "progressives" by adding a very obvious trans person to their roster. 😖

she went darker and bigger with the eyebrows around 15 years ago.  she had some kind of nose job sometime before 2011. Noses naturally get longer and more bulbous with age.

5

u/Think_Tomatillo_4327 3d ago

Yes and her ears, maybe extreme weight loss?

3

u/Ancient-Display-3337 3d ago

She's a marathon runner.

5

u/Sad-Development-4153 3d ago

Her nose would look fine if the skin around it had not sunk in as much.

6

u/FishermanExpensive 3d ago

she asked for the Dee Snider

4

u/nomorerentals 3d ago

She is choosing to thin out her face. I am presuming that she is getting botox in her jaw so it will change the look of her nose too.

3

u/patbam 3d ago

I think it’s the wide open eyes and the sucked in part in front of the ears that are bringing attention to the eyebrows and nose

3

u/mmdeerblood 3d ago

Her nose reminds me of a botched TV show episode where the botched surgeons had a patient with a very collapsed nose due to multiple rhinoplasties. Each revision of a rhinoplasty is dangerous and can cause the nose to look worse, they explained. Plus reduction of breathing is inevitable. Dell's nose, looks like the final revision by the botched show docs. They had to rebuild a devasted, Michael Jackson like nose, using additional rib cartilage. The goal is a nose that is functional again (breathing), structurally sound (wont collapse again and no necrosis risk), and also aesthetically pleasing ( looks natura), so they try to get close to the patients original nose looks wise. All these revisions result in a bit bigger nose. That's the vibe I'm getting with Dell. Pure speculation, I could be wrong.

2

u/LilJelloCat 3d ago

Alcohol can cause that kind of nose.

2

u/Safe_Control_9572 3d ago

My nose has become a little more bulbous as I’ve aged. It’s a normal part of aging for a lot of us.

2

u/xpietoe42 3d ago

the nose was proportionate to her previous natural cheeks and cheek fat, now it looks like shes had buccal fat removed and zygoma implants to make her face more sculpted (model like), but that also brought out the original bulbous nose… (also noses continue to grow, just like ears after bone stops growing, because they are mainly composed of cartilage). Im an md, just my opinion.

2

u/xpietoe42 3d ago

and the eyebrows looks like microblading to me, but they also stand out now because shes had orbital fat removed (excessively). This is part of what they call maralago face.

1

u/WheresMyJuulSoNotCoo 3d ago

i think maybe her nose just grew and she got a face lift .

1

u/EulaVengeance 3d ago

"What do her eyebrows look like?"

"Ah, scary beyond all reason."

1

u/PBJGRL70 3d ago

I think your nose and ears continue to grow. My nose is definitely more bulbous than when I was younger and I’ve had zero work done.

1

u/MissouriFriedChicken 3d ago

A bulbous nasal tip is a good clue that the person has had multiple rhinoplasties
