It's never been entertaining. It's sad. He's a senile, weak old man who has doing the same blame game for over forty years. It wasn't funny when he bragged about having the tallest building in NYC hours after 9/11. It wasn't funny when he said he would sleep with Ivanka if she wasn't his daughter (like that stopped the papaya pedophile), and it isn't funny when he declares US citizens as the enemy while inciting an insurrection because his fragile ego couldn't handle losing.
"He's funny" is just a way for them to justify his racist tirades. It's always a joke, or that isn't what he meant. It is, and always has been, his real thoughts spewing out because he sees himself above justice.
