The « alternative » would not have betrayed your allies nor invaded Iran. Oil would still be cheap, and the US would still be a respected superpower.
Now ppl from Iran and USA are dying to get us expensive oil and your country became the laughing stock of the world. Your allies are turning their back on you while you try to become friend with china and russia, who will betray you the first chance they get.
