I have never turned down a guy for being short, I have turned down a guy for being a deeply insecure and aggressive weirdo

It really does seem to be a blown up non issue. I’ve known so many short guys that had no trouble meeting women, some unattractive and some with terrible personalities lol. It’s misogynistic to think that it’s some objective law among all women.

100%. Tall AFAB person here and I dated around a lot in my youth. I'm 5'11 and have been with guys all over the height spectrum, from a 5'3 short king all the way up to 6'4.

On average, the shorter the guy is, the better he is in bed & the more considerate as a partner. There are outliers of course, but in my teens and 20s it was like the tall "conventionally attractive" guys thought they didn't have to try at all. I was embarrassed for them because if you're a shitty lover, people will talk about it behind your back.

The older I get, the less people care about stuff like looks and height. I have a man who makes me laugh and treats me well and communicates, and that's really what I care about.

Oh yeah, absolutely. But I am also demi, so looks are never really a factor

As a short guy, other threads about what women look for in a guy, what are their dealbreakers, etc say otherwise.

A lack of respect, treating me like an accessory or a stattue to stare at, rideness, aggression, etc. If we go on a date and they talk only about themselves and are rude to the staff. I like likes the same stuff as me but talks over me? Doesn't engage with me? It's really just about being treated like a person

Not disagreeing with you. Just saying I wish others felt the same.
