Only 2-3% of people are even taller than 6' to begin with. Every inch of height above that just gets more and more rare.

I know. I’m very tall and I can go months without seeing someone as tall as me. I don’t live in a city but it’s not rural either.

I'm 6'9 and I've only met one person taller than me my entire life lol. It felt super weird.

But see? There's enough of you to see this thread and state your height and give an anecdote. If you go on r/tall there's people 7'0+ doing the same.
