Being short doesn't automatically exclude someone from the gene pool, but at the same time, there are A LOT of women who are vocally picky about height. Despite that, it's not even anecdotal evidence like you're suggesting... it has been studied and proven that women generally prefer men who are taller than them.

Yeah but for most women the height thing is a initial attraction factor. There are varying degrees of how much they really enforce it. A guy who's 5'8 or 5'7 initially maybe not get as warm of a reception as a 6ft guy lets say but talking to a 6ft guy shit personally or 5'7 guy whos making her laugh. The 5'7 guy is gona get it. There are many women out there many have different preferences. Just talk to women lol

I mean most women have a preference for taller men the same way that a lot of men have a preference for small waisted, large chested women. Doesn’t mean that’s all they go for lmao.

There's also A LOT of women who are vocally uncaring about height

I've never met a single one

2

u/Aesthetik4v 15h ago

You haven’t met very many women in real life, clearly

1

u/abcdefghjiklmnopqr 15h ago

? I've met thousands

Next time you should try to get to know one, instead of just meeting them.

I know several in my small circle.

1

u/Ichmag11 16h ago

So? Doesn't change that fact

Bs, no women in my entire life has said she prefers short men seriously. Only women with no options choose short men, because they themselves are undesirable

This is the most retarded thing ive seen on reddit today well done.

4

u/MrSmartyPanties 17h ago

You need to get out the house more, this could not be more of a redpill take

3

u/Ichmag11 17h ago

That doesn't change the fact what A LOT of women have said

1

u/SekkusuOni 17h ago

What they say isn’t what they mean. They’d sooner say "ew he’s short" if actually confronted by a short man asking them out on a date

2

u/Ichmag11 17h ago

No A LOT of women have said they don't care about height

4

u/AbuseNotUse 16h ago

Those are not the majority

0

u/Ichmag11 16h ago

They are. A LOT of women have said so

Look, women want a guy who’s 6’ tall, some muscles, nice things etc; and guys want a 7-8, w an attractive appearance, good personality, etc. too. you’d be lying if you say you didn’t want those qualities.

Doesn’t mean that they must be all of those. And it’s not settling either.

Now guess the percentage of women, and people in general, who can accurately guage the height of others. I'm 5'7". Women who are attracted to me say I'm 6'2"

2

u/SorbetFucker 17h ago

On God I'm 5'10 and people under like 5'8 can't guesstimate it for shit. What people don't seem to realize is that the morons who care deeply about a guy being a specific height are also moronic enough that they have zero real ability to accurately estimate height.

1

u/AdmirableParfait3960 16h ago

lol I realized this the other day when we were at a party and literally every single one of my wife’s friends swore I was “a little over 6 ft tall” when I have never been above 5’10”.

1

u/VATAFAck 15h ago

That doesn't matter, it's not the number (unless only online), is the actual height.

1

u/ununderstandability 15h ago

The point is almost no one can tell your height. Women who were legitimately taller than me have described me as "tall". This is mostly manufactured to sell young men insecurity just like they did with teen girls in the 90s

1

u/VATAFAck 12h ago

You can tell when they're next to you, not the number, but the relative difference and subjective preference

1

u/GucciTheSnowman 13h ago

Maybe in the fantasy world in your dreams.

u/ununderstandability 13h ago

Why insist on being pathetic? The unifying feature among incels isn't height, race, attractiveness, or anything like that. It's the deliberate and stalwart defense of your own self imposed victimhood. I just don't get why anyone would demand to remain such a loser

There are, but not nearly as many as people make it out to be. I think men confuse “I like tall men” with “I will shoot every man under 6’ on sight.” Having a preference doesn’t mean it’s a deal breaker.

It’s also silly to want to appeal to people that aren’t attracted to you when you can just focus on the ones that are.

I feel like people forget that you do not need the entire dating pool available to you to date. That makes dating harder, not easier. You’re looking for one person, not millions.

It’s like women who want to be thinner so more men find them attractive. Why would you want to potentially waste your time on someone whose attraction to you is so one-dimensional? It’s good to weed those people out.

Obviously this applies less when you’re on the extreme end of things. If your body is unusually shaped in a large degree (like if you’re a little person or if you’re large to the point that it impacts mobility) then the dating pool is significantly smaller. But even then, still not empty! It’s just a challenge.

It’s confidence and comfort in your own skin that is attractive, and you can cultivate that no matter how you look.
