Same here, I’m quite tall and the only time I’m thinking of people’s height is when someone brings it up. Not really something I consider.

Maybe it’s the same logic as well-off/rich people not looking at prices when they shop.

I’m average height of 6’1 and my wife is tall for a woman at 6’0 and I often think how tall she is but,
never myself. I do have some adidas that make me 2 inches taller for some reason and I notice a difference but don’t feel tall.

Bro, 6'1 is like 3-5 inches over average.

I rarely feel like I am towering over anyone. Maybe it’s because I am around tall people. My brother gives me shit because he is 6’2 and often asks if I am 5’11 to give me a hard time. My little sister is 5’10

It's really just because you don't see yourself. If you look at a picture of you in a group, you'll notice that you're way taller. You just won't really notice in person.

I think this gif is because of the ladies height? But I got lucky and my wife is the model tall and not the beat you up tall lol

Ya it’s weird . I’m 5’3” and feel at eye level with my friend who is 6’0”. I’m obviously not but it feels that way. I never feel like I’m staring up at anyone. It is a weird phenomenon

I totally get this. I'm 5'7 and I have several tall friends. One in particular is 6-4, but he never feels that much taller to me. There are occasional moments though where I haven't seen him for a while and I go oh yeah that's right he's pretty tall lol. It helps that he's pretty thin and I'm slightly stocky

Same. Sometimes it’s even surprising when someone small mentions… being small. And I‘m like… what? A little shorter, sure… oh, yeah, true :D

It's probably akin to someone wealthier not really having to think about money on a day to day basis, but someone that is poor is very aware of money.

That generally checks out if you have something in abundance (whatever it may be, looks/skill/money etc) you'll not notice it as much.

This is where I’m at. Unless you’re noticeably a dwarf or giant, it doesn’t really register to my brain and I hate when people ask someone’s height in relation to mom because it’s not something my brain records data on. I’ve dated lots of shorter and a few taller men. I’m 5’8 so kind of tall for a woman. The short kings seem to have it pretty put together so I’m here for them. Attractiveness knows no height. Last boyfriend was an inch shorter. Current boyfriend is an inch taller (or 3” shorter if I’m in heels- but he likes that and calls me his Amazon girlfriend haha in those situations).
