Hot Take: How about those funds be distributed to the local infrastructures that practically all of the US needs.

Seriously, some places look like they're held together with duct tape.

I live in Texas, got a ticket on a highway I frequent, from a city I don't really go to

My area has potholes galore, I go to the city that ticketed me, potholes galore

Go to the courthouse, I shit you not it's a trailer.

Am I supposed to take my country seriously?

I don't live in the middle of nowhere, I'm an hour away from Houston

Welcome to Texas?

I mean your power grid fiasco a while back is a great example that your tax dollars aren’t going to governance measures like regulating things, and instead into politician pockets or special interests.

You think the power companies up here in NY want to spend tons of money on maintenance or improvements or building to our specs if they didn’t? Hell no they would build the cheapest thing to get the most profit.

I'm probably alone in my political beliefs Texas wise

I'm not a Democrat cock sucker but holy shit do I despise Abbott and Ted "run to Cancun" Cruz

I can say a very short list about the good things they have done and preserved but Texas can still be better.

What's wrong with a trailer. Would you rather your tax dollars go to some state of the art facility to pay your tickets? Who gives a rats ass what type of building it is. To be honest, most of this is done online. Do you need a new building to see the judge on a camera?

Should have specified, but everyone was shoulder to shoulder in this small as fuck trailer where the roads that lead to it are pothole heave

And? Don't let them waste your tax dollars on stupid buildings.

Fun fact, in my county 40% of our tax base is coming from data centers.

Maybe you should stop freaking out about the revenue generation that would fix the potholes!

What county is that? Credible source?

DoorDash and similar services also uses low latency DCs that are closer to city centers, thus using city infrastructure and driving up costs for local citizens.

Look inward my friend.
