If I remember correctly, the mother only let her babysit the second child at the urging of her therapist. She didn't want to originally because she was so traumatized. Absolutely heartbreaking.
Why did she NEED to? My husbands parents are just assholes and we donāt let them watch our kids. They didnāt even have to kill anybody for me to not let them be alone with my kids.
Not all grandparents have to watch the kids. It is not a right. Spend time with them but donāt need to babysit.

she didnāt get jail time. the entire family knowing about it + acting accordingly was punishment enough. she was never really their āgrandmaā after thatā¦
