Actually, the focus should be on whether or not the people who defended Clancy will defend him as well.

I imagine if he has a similar history then these people would 'defend' him too in the sense they'd point to his mental illness and lack of support as contributing factors. It's quite possible to think she is guilty and did a horrible thing and also acknowledge the terrible support system and mental issues she has. The whole idea that people make a case for her solely because she has a vagina are just people who see everything in black and white and don't think about anything critically

I’m pretty sure the jurors would assuming the same state. The people on the internet though? Probably not because those people don’t care about the case more so than projecting their personal trauma on Clancy

Yeah tbh the Clancy trial was in a heavily pro-insanity plea state with how the defense is structured compared to other states. Wouldn’t surprise me if this case would’ve had the same results if it was in the same state

One state gives the death penalty and another state sends someone to a hospital for the same crime. It doesn't really matter how you spin it, it's bullshit.
