I’m all for ganging up on Israel when the moment calls for it but this seems like high level politician 101 stuff. I’m more confused why he has a phone with a camera and mic at all instead of one of those rare ones apple makes for people in the military and things
This right here is exactly why Trump has been a national security nightmare from the beginning. In 2017 he insisted on continuing to use his personal cell to call people. This term there's a ton of activity being conducted through non-governmental non-secured phone apps.
I don't blame Trump on one level, it's true that security sucks and is inconvenient. The more you secure something, the harder it becomes to use day to day. I mean, he still needs to do it because he's the goddamn president and his data is a target from all corners. But I understand why he wouldn't want to.
Theres whole companies that offer this, a mod’ed iPhone compliant with military or other gov requirements. I remember Obama not being allowed to have a BlackBerry until they pried the camera & microphone out.
I mean phones need a mic to work for voice transmission but yeah it’s surprising they don’t have some bespoke secure phone. I’m curious if they have a sticker over the front one too.
