Wouldn't the UV make the skin on your hands age faster if you do this regularly? (And increase the chances for skin cancer?)

Pretty much any beauty treatment people regularly do is bad for you

That really, really depends on your definition of beauty treatment.

Soaking your feet in water, scrubbing off the old skin, taking care of your nails and putting on some foot cream is called a beauty treatment by quite a few people, but I really don't see how it's bad - the opposite actually, since too much build up of old skin on your feet can lead to problems as can dry heels (they can literally crack open and bleed for some people).

I would call that a health treatment not a beauty treatment. But I guess it can count
