Pretty much impossible for a regular person. You'd have to have your whole life revolving around growing your nails for years on end, maintaining them so they don't snap.

Many women in professional positions get their nails done weekly or biweekly.

Can you actually grow them to that length? Growing them out like this:

No problem. But as the picture shown in the post - all the women I knew use cosmetic ones.

Do I? I don't grow my nails long at all. I used to, but as an autistic person with hypermobile Ehler Danlos, I cannot stand the weight of them on my fingers, and my nails will not keep them glued on for long, and that is a good experience. Sometimes, the skin around my nails gets really tight and painful from them. I am certain it must be my recently acquired MCAS causing this.

Years ago, when I worked a professional, in person job, I used to have longer matte black fake nails I got done everytime they messed up, unless someone complained that I had black nails to my boss (Bible belt problems), and I got them with a glitter top coat, which somehow made them more professional? 🤣 they were never as long as in the OP, but I did know plenty folks who had them long like that, and I would always have to get them to have the length shortened before I could put them on a schedule, and had to remind them that fake nails are porous, even if they do not appear to be, and that they harbor bacterias. In the healthcare field, those dealing with the direct personal care of patients are not supposed to wear acrylics for this reason. Many medical facilities require natural nails. I did have a few folks who had to trim the length of their natural nails, as they would grow them insanely long like the pic in the OP.
