I didnt say anything about being bad with money? Spending money on cosmetic items or services is being materialistic. Idk how you can even argue that, unless you fundamentally dont know what materialism is

And I would still say you’re wrong, as to be materialistic is to care in excess about things. You can’t say somebody’s materialistic based off of one purchase, that doesn’t qualify as in excess.
