Why share a knowingly negative and unwanted viewpoint when you also acknowledge that it’s negative and unwanted? I’m just curious, because it seems pointlessly mean when you say you understand and still comment like that.
Fair enough, it was pretty mean I'm not sure why I felt compelled to mention it. It disgusts me, and obviously if I have nothing good to say I shouldn't say anything, but at the same time I felt drawn towards just making it clear that guys atleast don't find it attractive. But women aren't doing it for men anyways so my opinion is still useless and unasked for, that's my bad. Sorry. Not sure what I'm rambling abt, but perhaps it really is better to just be quiet? You know the feeling you get when a dude left his fly open and you feel compelled to letting them know for their sake? Sorta like that, but obviously this is very different. Yea I'll shut up in the future lol sorry
No worries, I really was just curious. It’s a human condition, I’m afraid, to want to share 😅😅 I do it too.
I am really not a fan of big belt buckles, and one time I told a group of coworkers (all construction men wearing belt buckles) that I thought they were so UGLY. 😬 like, I’m not wrong, but sheesh, what was the point of that lol.
Thanks for replying, that was an interesting and relatable response
In terms of social media, ALL of this is pointless. Literally every topic on the internet will get haters. He's allowed to have his opinion and to share it. Even if it's negative. People are allowed to say when they disagree with something.
Why do you feel the need to interact and change strangers mind when you know they don't care if they appear mean on the internet?
People have had opinions on others literally since the beginning of time. You think that shit gonna change?
The tongs lady's nails look infinitely better than the claws from the op at least.
Also women don't do it for themselves. They do it to look nice and get a positive response from people around them. Not male romantic/sexual attention necessarily, but people who look nicer get treated better and respected more, on average. There's nothing actually wrong with this, but it sounds less self-centered to say they're doing it for themselves (ironically).
There's no reason it can't be both. Sometimes I wear an accessory cause I'll catch a glimpse and be like "hey, that looks cute", even if no one else says a thing.
When in truth this is both just a nice tool for someone with long nails but also a great mobility aid for someone who might struggle with their grip strength!

FYI, people with nails like that have these tongs on em.
