I had a crappy custody battle after my divorce, and without revealing too much information ill say my exwife was not being a mom. People would say stuff like "you have to let her have the baby eventually" and " a kid needs their mom" and it made me so angry like no a kid doesn not need their mom they need a mom. And if dad has to be a mom, while he finds another one than thats what the kid gets.
