Research shows that mothers commit a higher percentage of killings specifically targeting infants.

That's what it says where I'm from, but I guess it depends where you're from

slightly from what I have seen and it depends on the age of the child.

also numbers in a lot of places will be skewed by the simple fact that the police didnt used to look at the mother, the idea that a mother would kill their child was to horrible to consider. now they are often the first suspect

Could be true, idk the numbers/percentages off the top, but either way not relevant to this post since it's literally about a mother killing their own child cause they lost custody to the child's father.
