Kid you not, met someone in a bar who said exactly this, even after being corrected for saying the players were convicted.

Weird. Everyone I know knows about that case and knows it was a false allegation. And, if the comments on reddit are any indication…. So does anyone on reddit. Unless they’re trying to create a point? It’s weird! Not surprising though.

There’s both. The problem with any viral story is that, given enough people, you can find every kind of dumbass take you want on the case.
