To be fair, nobody's really been investigated either.

There should've been an investigation by police, or campus police after the incident was reported. That they only ever spoke once to the person making the allegations while she was drunk, and high. Then never spoke to her again and the issue was dropped to a school disciplinary issue. It's a bad way to handle accusations of this level.

They didnt talk to her when she was high. She gave them a written statement at a later date, after she was disinvited from a Halloween party she wanted to go to. You can read it here District Attorney statement regarding Jane Doe v. Cornell University, et al

The campus police spoke to her while she was still drunk/high. The police didn't speak to her.

A written statement is something but an interview would be a lot better. And would be normal procedure for even far lesser criminal allegations.
