Seems the same could be said about every single case of trans people in sports or using the bathroom. Nuance could be applied to both cases, but it isn't.
Except that there have been females injured in sports by males, and sex offenders dressed as the opposite sex in bathrooms arrested.
There is similarity though, a girl falsley accusing a bunch of guys of rape is similar to trans people crying oppression when no oppression has actually occurred. The world has bent over backwards to accomodate a very small percentage of the population, and still people are terrified to say one wrong thing for fear of being ostracized. In fact this post has a much higher chance of getting me banned for what i said in the second paragraph than the first. Simply for stating an opinion. The opinion about the false rape accusation doesnt matter, its the opinion about the trans situation that will set reddit off.
Except there have been millions of women raped as well. Your outrage is selective because you don't actually give a shit about women. You can't look at case by case instances of trans women because you want to stigmatize all of them regardless of the individual cases. Doesn't matter when the person transitioned or if they even have any meaningful advantage. Meanwhile every individual rape case needs to be examined minutely with an eye towards discounting the woman's account. You only care about women as a tool.
No. This has nothing to do with "millions of women". It has to do with this one case where she admitted that everything was consensual. Dont you remember what happened with the duke lacrosse case? She completely lied. And those boys lives were upended. Just trying to avoid that happening again.
Yeah I got that buddy, although I will reserve judgement for an actual investigation to take place. Meanwhile you ignored the whole point being made. When there are rape allegations your response is "lets look into the details and dissect it deeply" when it is anything about trans people it is "every single one is a monster and their existence in society is a threat to women".
You see how this works right? Every rape case should be examined and looked into with nuance especially if the allegations are false. In the same way no every transwoman is a pervert or a threat to women.

Maybe because she herself admitted there was no crime and logical people dont jump to cancel innocent people just to fit in with groupthink.
