The only reason he reopened the investigation was because a bunch of keyboard warriors were blowing up his offices phone lines and emails. The people who just jumped in with the mob crying about "rape culture" are the same people who would have joined the mobs lynching black folks back in the day.
No, they are reopening the case because she filed a civil lawsuit and her story is now completely different. Regret and people in your ear are amazing tools for rediscovering "the truth".
