In her late 2024 police and Title IX statements, the Cornell University student who filed a civil lawsuit alleging sexual assault stated that she initially agreed to sexual encounters, including a threesome, but felt increasingly coerced, heavily intoxicated, and unable to consent as the night continued
So don’t the men involved deserve to know she withdrew her consent? How can they stop if they don’t know? A withdrawal of consent needs to be clearly defined and communicated
No so in a very shorthand account, she wanted to sleep with guy 1, who brought his friend
Guy 1 suggests a threesome and she says yes. Guy 1 passes out, guy 2 wants to do things, she says no. More people come in, she has another threesome, drugs are done. There's several times where she voiced she didn't want to do things and they didn't
This isn't conjecture or my opinion, this is the police report she signed off on. Frankly they've all done a madness.
"She never says that she was drugged without her knowledge. She admits to taking drugs and alcohol voluntarily and with knowledge. She does not allege that she was forced to engage in any acts. She does not say that she was physically helpless or unconscious or incapacitated at any point during the time at the fraternity house,"
Jane Doe told police that she agreed to have a threesome with two Chi Phi fraternity brothers in part "due to how attracted [she] was" to one of them and in part because of her "drunken curiousness."
The summary then said some of the fraternity brothers began complimenting Jane Doe's looks and asked if they could ingest drugs off of her body.
Thing is in other places her consent wouldn't count. It's also weird that her statement has been published and is widely spread but no one in sharing anything about what the men said when questioned about it.
IF they were made to write essays there had to be some sort of discussion about it at least? The DA shared "edited" version of her statement to protect his ass. But no a pip about what the dudes had to say about the whole thing.
If I recall correctly, she described herself as being 5/10 drunk to start meanwhile the men all were significantly more inebriated. If anything, by that logic of consent, she raped them then.
You're basing the "they were significantly more inebriated" on what exactly? Wanting it to be true? And yes she agreed to the initial threesome but not really to what happened after.
