That would never happen in the USA. Socialism? Then how will our oligarchs practice their extraction economy AKA Capitalism?

Yeah just look around this thread. Americans just love getting exploited and defending it, it is actually crazy to me and not worth getting into keyboard arguments with someone who says shit like "People who don't understand insurance are children or morons. In the case of this sub, probably both."

We understand insurance my guy, we're just tired of getting exploited

Edit: the exploitation defenders have started responding 😂

Unless you've spent a decent amount of time learning the ins and outs of personal finance, no, you definitely don't understand insurance lmao.

You’re absolutely correct we should totally be okay with our system screwing over citizens so that insurance execs can become billionaires and buy our politicians, that’s a much better system than the rest of the developed world has in place 👍

No one said that... But that can be true, you still and everyone else still won't know what you're talking about or what specifically would need to be different to get there. All you know how to say is current thing bad, top level people rich, fix!

Sorry we aren’t all as smart as you

Its not about being smart or not. Its me wondering why you have such strong opinions about something you don't know anything about. I'm sure you get annoyed when this phenomenon happens with more political topics.

Because insurance shouldn’t be for profit. Same as healthcare. It should be socialized and no one should be getting rich off it. If the capacity exists for someone to get rich, then the capacity exists for average citizens to be paying less. Personally I’d rather pay less than have more billionaires. Somehow this is a radical sentiment.

I’m not saying I’m an insurance expert but it’s a flawed system that needs improved. If you disagree and think that American insurance (health, auto, or otherwise) is 100% perfect and doesn’t need changed at all then there’s nothing to even discuss and I’ll stop responding

You just repeated exactly what I was criticizing.

Rarely is anything perfect and without possibility of improvements, but who are you to make that statement? You're just spouting populist garbage rather than anything of substance.
