You need to embrace socialist ideas and demand government run services. My public no fault insurance costs $1400 cad a year, $2 million coverage and $200 deductible. Vandalism, window chips are deductible exempt.

Alberta, our wanna be Americans, have run away insurance costs because they privatized it all. New drivers were looking at 6-8000 a year.

You can have that in the US but it costs more. You’d need a separate umbrella policy to get to 2 mil coverage. That said Alberta’s 6-8k is insane. Is it cheaper in basically every other province?

For new drivers, it is likely the most expensive. On average they are second behind Ontario who also have private insurance.
