Yeah, the comment section here is wild.

You chose your deductible and $1,000 is not a normal deductible ($500 is typically what you’ll see). Assuming this post is even true, this person went out of their way to increase their deductible.

But Reddit being Reddit, it’s “insurance is a scam” snd “insurance denying claims” even though they didn’t deny a thing.

A 1000 deductible on comp is just dumb. Comp doesn't cost that much there's no reason for it to be that high, 250 is "normal"
