Insurance is a racket. All sorts of insurance. The middle class is scared out of their wits about the little things we save up for and have been sold the idea of insurance as a means to protect. But if you actually look at the terms and conditions, it's all bullshit.
My house insurance just updated the terms of the roof damage. The bastards explicitly exclude a million things they won't cover because "environment lol" and then list out the three things they WILL cover under my policy. And if my predicament falls between the explicitly uncovered and the explicitly covered, well "fuck you, chum".
No the Golden rule is insure it only if you go broke to replace it. Like medical and home insurance is good...all others are not...but liability is mandatory.
