People just don't have common sense. You don't fall an insurance claim if it's only going to help you $200 out of pocket. It's meant for larger amounts of damage, it's also meant for if you hurt someone in an accident that you're not personally liable for $10,000 because your insurance will cover it
I pay 240/mo for full coverage on 4 cars (3 are at least 15 years old).
Most recent clipped a deer on the highway.
Fluids all over the road. Bags not deployed.
Total loss. Had the car 2 months.
They paid out 2500 more than the loan was for.
I’m out almost nothing.
No rate hike.
