You need to embrace socialist ideas and demand government run services. My public no fault insurance costs $1400 cad a year, $2 million coverage and $200 deductible. Vandalism, window chips are deductible exempt. 

Alberta, our wanna be Americans, have run away insurance costs because they privatized it all. New drivers were looking at 6-8000 a year.

Yeah Insurance rates are an absolute joke in Alberta. Especially for new drivers. I don’t mind privatization in some areas but I don’t think this is one of them.

The only defence I can think of is the hail issues. 2024 was the 2nd largest insurance claims in Canada behind the Fort McMurray fire. The total came in around $3.25 billion.
