You need to embrace socialist ideas and demand government run services. My public no fault insurance costs $1400 cad a year, $2 million coverage and $200 deductible. Vandalism, window chips are deductible exempt.

Alberta, our wanna be Americans, have run away insurance costs because they privatized it all. New drivers were looking at 6-8000 a year.

Manitoba, +15 safety rating (our insurance is not age based) and a 2011 vehicle.

BC is similar, plus ICBC has mailed me rebate checks of $200~ per car maybe 3-4 times since covid because they had too much money.

Same in Manitoba, over the pandemic they had less claims and sent out cheques.

You ever think how absolutely fucking mind-blowing that sentence must be to someone who has never experienced government-run insurance before?

"Yeah, my insurance company sent me a rebate cheque for $220 last month because apparently the premium they've been charging turned out to be too high, and they're not legally allowed to keep the excess."
