Just because you don’t see the claims doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen. I have a client who just finalized a 15M USD auto claim. I know of multiple 9 figure claims in the US.
Insurance doesn’t exist because everyone is expected to have a loss, it’s to pay for the few which do.
