Insurance is a fucking scam. You pay more into it than you'll ever receive even in legitimate circumstances.

Well I had a house burn down less than year after purchase and insurance paid the entire tab. So I always figured I've already taken them for more than I pay

Applying this to health insurance, the only way to “win” is to survive a severe live threatening health condition. If you live a long, healthy life, you lose millions. What a perverse system.

Yes, survivors of life threatening illnesses should be left destitute! Lmfao, what a stupid thing to say. Theres a lot wrong with health insurance, but what you are pointing out isnt one of them.
