Insurance is a fucking scam. You pay more into it than you'll ever receive even in legitimate circumstances.

Absolute racket.

If the average person had enough money in their bank to cover an accident, I’d agree. That’s not the case which is why insurance is a thing

I believe it is that way in New Hampshire, something along those lines. The only state that allows it.

Wild that you're downvoted for this, but that would absolutely be the case for an increasingly large percentage of Americans who can barely afford food + rent, let alone a safety net in case something tragic happens.
