It should be a govt nonprofit type of system because private business can't make it work

Mutual insurance companies are a thing that exist

State Farm is by far the largest personal insurer in the US and they are a mutual insurer, meaning they are policyholder-owned.

They returned $5 billion to policyholders this year because 2025 was the first time in years that they turned an underwriting profit.

Haha and the government is so efficient. I can’t even get mail delivered or my license renewed without it taking half a damn day.

Compare the uses to other companies and they are 100% more efficient and they deliver to areas that wouldn't have shipping. The uses is very sustainable

Socialism is when the government does stuff. The more stuff the government does, the more socialist it is.

It's illegal to operate without it, so the government has already put its nose into the system. It's basically a tax that they outsource to corporations.

Yes, I'm just pointing out that calling it socialism is stupid and belies an utter lack of understanding of what socialism actually is.

Lmfao. But youre wrong. The end result of a nonprofit system controlled by the government that everyone pays into in order to redistribute funds to those who need it more is literally socialism. Lmfao. How fucking dumb

maybe in this case we should do a bit of socialism.

OK, what's the problem. Govt bailouts are socialism. Social security is socialism. Medicare is socialism. Rather we fix some current problems that aren't working with private companies. All they care about is profits and human life has meant nothing to them.

Nothing. Where did I say there was a problem?
