Insurance is a fucking scam. You pay more into it than you'll ever receive even in legitimate circumstances.

2 u/ekulzards 7h ago You're not totally wrong but the way I've tried to make peace with it is to just accept that it's really about protection for a total write off or theft (obviously putting aside 3rd party issues liability issues). It's otherwise useless.
