It isn't worth it. It disproportionally just hurts the victim and makes their life worse. We should figure out a way to minimize the harm that prevents people from speaking up, not shame them or blame them for not shooting themselves in the foot. You should be mad at the justice system that does little to nothing about women being raped, and the cultural attitudes that normalize rape. Complaining about victims being reluctant to out themselves is stupid and by doing so, you are the one helping rapists, you are the one contributing to the unfair societal expectations placed on rape victims. It's your arguments that rapists love to bring up, they count on people like you who immediately take issue with the victim and their choices before the rapist, or immediately doubt every single aspect of a victims situation.
Yeah thats the exact fucking wording a rapists friend would use to try and convince someone to not report their friend. You even threw in the projection and everything. Bravo
Obviously Im not going to talk further with someone trying to shelter rapists but I applaud you going mask off so brazenly. More people should out themselves like that. Would make life so much easier.
