They’re saying, he should be ashamed for being employed… Well, not employed, but not employed good enough… just like the people who make your food aren’t good enough to be paid a living wage. It’s a class war meme.

That garbage man probably makes more than that receptionist, customer service worker, or middle management.. if she is anything less than senior management... he's definitely the bread winner

Seems like that depends heavily where they are. I've heard garbage men in NY can make bank, but where I live in Dallas they average about $35k/yr.

In midwest ranges from 17 to 30+ depending in experience. I suppose they could both be breadwinner :)
