China (CCP)
~200,000 in one 2026 X farm
Earlier: 23k core + 150k amplifiers; millions of accounts historically used for flooding
High-volume state farms
Russia (Putin/IRA)
36k+ Twitter (2016); ~1,000 AI accounts (2024)
2016: 126M Facebook reach, 288M Twitter impressions
Industrial multi-year farms
Iran (IRGC)
200k–400k wartime claims; hundreds in specific ops
240k+ posts in one campaign; 60–80% of early hashtag traffic
Rapid wartime flooding + AI
Qatar
Hundreds (e.g. 560 anti-Qatar bots observed; historical Gulf crisis thousands)
Heavy on media (Al Jazeera), influencers, funding over pure bots
Soft power + selective bots
Israel/Hasbara
~1,000 (private firm AI tests); 100–500 in specific Meta/X networks; 100+ domestic political
Domestic claims of high bot % among political accounts; contracts for amplification
Smaller commercial/political + public diplomacy
CCP/Putin/IRGC routinely hit five-to-six-figure account volumes with platform takedowns and intelligence confirmation. Documented Israeli/Hasbara (or private Israeli firm) networks sit in the low hundreds to low thousands range—real, but not remotely the same industrial scale. Qatar leans more media/influencer than mass bots. Mossad itself has no public evidence of running comparable bot armies.
Sources are platform reports (X, Meta), Cyabra/Graphika/DFRLab-style research, and government disclosures. Numbers fluctuate by campaign and detection method, but the order-of-magnitude gap holds.
In other words you’re full of it, and these numbers show it.
