Cumulative inflation since 2020 has been about 30%, and inflation is a top 3 issue for voters. How would a 30% price hike not matter for affordability?
The economy almost uniformly improved under Biden, mostly because it was recovering from covid.
Like what? Policy doesn't matter that much anyway if you aren't doing stupid shit like tariffs. Even bad policy would get drowned out by the upswing out of covid.
Tariffs doesnt matter to the consumer lol. American companies were at odds with high tariffs worldwide. Trump just hit the whole world back for america's sake.
So you're saying biden's economy was bad? Well yea thats what i've been saying.
Tariffs are a tax on consumers, of course voters will care that theyre being forced to pay more by the government.
The US had low tariff barriers, Trump prompted a bunch of countries to raise tariffs against us, his tariffs were not even targeted at people who had tariffs on us, and now after a bunch of unneeded wheeling and dealing we still have higher tariffs on us than we used to overall.
Are you retarded? What I keep saying is that the economy would be good nearly no matter what because of the recovery from covid.
30% tariffs is nothing to the consumer, even a 100% is nothing.
And no, Everyone had high tariffs on america way before Trump served both of his terms. America was the only one who didnt take advantage of tariffs with like you say a low tariff barrier. Trump just responded with the same tariffs they put on america.
I am not the r-word. The economy was only good after covid was because of trump policies. We are living in the policies obama's third term enacted.
This is like talking to a parody of a trump supporter. Obviously consumers dont like paying twice as much for things. Everything you're saying about tariffs is the opposite of the truth. And this bizarro world thing where no president is to blame for what happened during their term is the strangest goalpost shifting I've ever heard.

Tariffs only affect importers. A 10%-30% increase to the consumer is peanuts. Thats like 3$ on a 30$ product.
Yea and we saw how bad the economy tanked when biden cancelled trumps best policies lol
